Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP Time Management in HCM/S4 for Time management
• Experience delivering SAP Time Management solutions; SuccessFactors Time Management is a plus
• Strong payroll integration knowledge: time wage types, retro calculations, gross-to-net
• Experience with Australian enterprise/regulatory environments, government exposure is valued
• Leadership of workshops; able to translate business requirements into technical design
• Ability to manage live HR/Payroll operations and peak processing cycles

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors Time Management Consultant to be responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of SAP HCM Time Management solutions while working with senior client stakeholders and cross‑functional delivery teams. Based in Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to large‑scale transformation programs and modernise critical HR and payroll platforms.

Role: Associate Manager - Senior SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors Time Management Consultant

As an Associate Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, enhancement, and optimisation of SAP HCM Time Management solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define future‑state processes.
• Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP Time Management solutions.
• Translate complex workforce agreements, award interpretations, enterprise agreements, public sector allowances, overtime rules, and business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Configure and support time evaluation rules, attendance and absence management, leave quotas, shift patterns, and workforce scheduling processes.
• Partner with payroll teams to ensure seamless integration between time management and payroll processing.
• Provide trusted advisory services to clients and guide junior consultants throughout delivery engagements.
• Support system upgrades, testing activities, and transformation programmes involving SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and workforce management platforms.
• Drive issue resolution, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational support activities.

What We're Looking For:

• Deep SAP Time Management Expertise: hands‑on experience in SAP HCM / S/4HANA Time Management, including expert‑level mastery of SAP Time Schemas, Schema Rules (PCRs), Time Manager's Workplace (TMW), CATS, and positive/negative time evaluation (PT60).
• Proven experience delivering SAP Time Management solutions. Knowledge of SuccessFactors Time Management would be an add‑on skill.
• Strong functional understanding of SAP Payroll integration, including time wage type generation, retrospective calculations (retro‑accounting), gross‑to‑net processing, and payroll schema integration.
• Strong understanding of workforce management, rostering, leave administration, and payroll integration.
• Experience working with Australian enterprise organisations, ideally within government or highly regulated environments, with understanding of award interpretation, enterprise agreements, allowances, overtime rules, and compliance requirements.
• Experience integrating SAP HCM/Payroll with external workforce tools like WorkForce Software (WFM), UKG Pro, and SAP Fieldglass (for contractor/contingent worker time tracking).
• Experience supporting upgrades, enhancement packs, service pack implementations, S/4HANA migrations, testing, validation of custom time schemas and rules, and production support activities is highly regarded.
• Practical experience supporting live HR and Payroll operations, troubleshooting production issues, managing peak processing cycles, and driving operational stability.
• Strong operational support experience, including root‑cause analysis of time evaluation and payroll processing issues, pay run stabilisation, period‑end support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and consulting experience in client‑facing environments.
• Excellent client‑facing, facilitation, and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non‑technical executive stakeholders is a must.
• Ability to lead workshops, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll, Employee Central Time Management, or hybrid SAP landscapes.
