PwC Australia’s Strategy& team is seeking a Manager to lead work in the Energy, Utilities & Resources sector. You’ll develop hypotheses, drive workstreams and shape executive-ready recommendations, working in lean, dynamic teams and collaborating across levels.

You’ll engage in business development, contribute to thought leadership, and help clients re-think value in a transforming energy landscape. This role blends strategic rigour with delivery depth.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of strategic plans that address clients' most pressing challenges across the EUR landscape, from portfolio optimisation and capital allocation through to market entry and operational improvement.
• Lead research and analysis to surface market trends, competitive dynamics and sector-specific insights that inform client decision-making.
• Facilitate workshops, contribute to presentations and build strong working relationships with client stakeholders, translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ownership of deliverables, ensuring reports, presentations and strategic frameworks are sharp, well-structured and effectively communicate our point of view.
• Support business development and thought leadership activities, helping to shape our perspective on the strategic issues affecting the Energy, Utilities & Resources sector.

• A genuine understanding of, or strong interest in, the Energy, Utilities & Resources or mining sector, including the commercial, regulatory and operational dynamics that shape strategic decision-making. Industry specialisation is highly favoured.
