Job summary

Department: Operations and Grants – Dubbo NSW is seeking a policy-focused professional to contribute to evidence-based strategic policy development, engage with diverse stakeholders, and ensure the voices of young people influence government decision‑making.

Working within a collaborative team, you will coordinate policy research, provide advice, and support projects delivering meaningful outcomes for children, young people and communities across NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting policy research and analysis, producing briefs and recommendations for decision-makers.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex issues and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and undertake strategic policy research, analysis and development activities.
• Prepare briefs, reports and documentation; support implementation and evaluation of policy initiatives.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships by engaging with young people, government agencies and community organisations.
