Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Laverton, VIC is seeking a Senior Workforce Planning Manager to lead labour planning and resource optimisation across our large-scale operations. You will own the strategy for workforce planning and drive operational efficiency to meet customer demands.

You'll develop high-performing teams, partner with senior leaders and act as change leader during transformation, delivering data-driven decisions and continuous improvement across the network.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in labour/workforce planning or similar, including leadership experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Operations Management or related discipline.
• Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision making.
• Proven success in leading teams and building capability.
• Experience managing change in dynamic operational environments.
• Ability to engage, influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end workforce and labour planning strategy.
• Optimise staffing levels in line with operational and customer needs.
• Monitor cost, performance, and productivity, adjusting plans as required.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Transport, Logistics and agency partners on hiring forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.
• Provide insightful reporting and data-driven decision support to senior leaders.
• Act as a key change leader during organisational transformation.
• Develop, coach and inspire a high-performing planning team.
