Job summary

Multicultural NSW is seeking a Service Delivery Manager, Workforce Demand and Capacity to lead the language services workforce across NSW. You will drive planning, demand forecasting, and performance using data insights to ensure a skilled and sustainable interpreter and translator workforce, enabling high-quality language services for diverse communities.

The role involves leading capacity planning, developing dashboards, and guiding recruitment and succession strategies in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning, service delivery, and operational management.
• Forecast demand, optimise capacity and deliver outcomes in high-volume environments.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and reporting experience.
• Experience developing dashboards and performance reporting for decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused leadership with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Shape workforce capability and capacity to deliver high-quality language services across NSW.
• Lead workforce planning and demand forecasting to match current and future needs.
• Analyse workforce and service demand data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Manage performance and development of a diverse pool of casual interpreters and translators.
• Drive recruitment planning and succession strategies for sustainability.
• Partner with leaders to optimise workforce allocation and outcomes.
• Provide expert advice on workforce trends and capacity requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
