Job summary

Royal Rehab, based in Milsons Point with interstate travel, seeks a strategic Work Health, Safety & Injury Manager to lead WHS across a complex, multi-site organisation. You will provide expert WHS guidance, drive continuous improvement and embed a proactive culture of safety and wellbeing.

Working with Quality, Safety & Risk, HR and operations, you’ll design and deliver initiatives that reduce harm and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualifications in Work Health Safety (WHS) or substantial senior WHS experience.
• Experience applying WHS legislation across multiple Australian jurisdictions.
• Experience managing workers compensation and return-to-work across jurisdictions.
• Ability to influence organisational culture and lead safety initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert WHS advice to executives, managers and staff across the organisation.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of WHS systems, policies and strategies across jurisdictions.
• Oversee WHS compliance, risk management and psychosocial safety across business areas.
• Lead injury management, early intervention and return-to-work programs.
• Conduct audits, investigations and regulatory reporting.
• Drive a proactive safety culture through education and capability building.
