Job summary

Harrison McMillan hires a Business Transformation & Governance Consultant in Sydney, NSW, for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on independent analysis, strategic advice and actionable recommendations across governance, risk, compliance and operational improvement.

You will lead investigations, identify systemic trends and shape long‑term, sustainable changes with senior stakeholders. You will review information from across the business, develop strategic recommendations and support

Responsibilities

• Review governance, risk, audit, compliance and operational information from across the business.
• Identify common themes, interconnected issues and systemic trends.
• Conduct structured analysis to determine underlying causes of recurring business challenges.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing improvement and remediation activities.
• Develop strategic recommendations that support stronger governance and enhanced performance.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and discussions to validate findings and build alignment around proposed solutions.
• Prepare clear and concise reports, insights and executive-level recommendations.
• Support the delivery of business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
