Job summary

Beveridge Williams is seeking a Principal Town Planner to lead complex planning projects from inception to approval in our Western Sydney (Oran Park) office. You will provide strategic advice, build client relationships, and mentor junior planners to grow the team.

The role emphasizes NSW planning legislation, stakeholder engagement, and delivering positive development outcomes for sustainable communities. We value leadership and proactive problem solving in a modern hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Town Planning.
• 10+ years experience in development, consultancy, or related planning.
• Strong knowledge of NSW planning legislation, policy frameworks, and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to clients, Councils, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior planners to develop skills and professional capability.
• Represent Beveridge Williams at hearings and consultation forums.
• Manage planning applications from inception to approval.
• Coordinate consultants and deliver planning outcomes within budgets and timeframes.
• Provide strategic planning advice to support proposals and business development.
