Job summary

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission in Sydney seeks a Senior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement and Public Education to lead the National Competition Council's national engagement, education and communications program.

You will develop and implement strategies to build understanding of National Competition Policy, strengthen relationships with governments and key stakeholders, and promote informed, evidence-based discussion on competition reform while maintaining the Council's

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading a team in a large complex organisation.
Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder engagement, communications or public policy programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop strategic engagement and communication plans.
Experience managing relationships with senior government, industry and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Council's stakeholder engagement strategy under the Intergovernmental and Federation Funding Agreements.
Lead public education and advocacy on competition and productivity-enhancing reform.
Prepare communication strategies, educational materials, web content, speeches, publications and digital content.
Coordinate public consultation for reviews, annual assessments and other Council work.
