Job summary

Greater Western Water is seeking a Sourcing Specialist, Service Delivery, in a fixed-term 12-month role based in Footscray/Sunbury with hybrid working arrangements. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, develop strategic approaches, and partner with stakeholders to deliver value-for-money outcomes for essential services.

Join a collaborative procurement team and help manage tenders, supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations while navigating public sector requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities.
• Proven experience leading complex tenders and negotiating commercial outcomes.
• Solid knowledge of procurement methodologies, supplier management and sourcing strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing risk, value and business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capability.
• Experience with e-sourcing and contract management systems.
• Public sector or regulated environment experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities from strategy development to contract execution.
• Develop sourcing strategies and market approaches aligned to requirements.
• Prepare procurement documentation including tender and evaluation materials.
• Lead evaluations of supplier submissions across commercial, technical and risk aspects.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Provide procurement advice across Service Delivery and the broader business.
• Identify opportunities for commercial savings and efficiencies.
