Job summary

Gippsland Water in Victoria is seeking a procurement professional to coordinate end-to-end sourcing across multiple initiatives. You will engage stakeholders, support market engagement, supplier selection and contract award processes, and ensure procurement outcomes align with governance and legislative obligations.

You will implement category strategies, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to system and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quotation, tender and market engagement processes.
• Sound knowledge of procurement governance, probity principles and value-for-money procurement practices.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed timeframes.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver end-to-end sourcing activities across a range of procurement initiatives.
• Provide specialist procurement advice and coordinate sourcing activities with stakeholders.
• Ensure procurement outcomes align with governance requirements and legislative obligations.
• Support implementation of category strategies and demand aggregation initiatives.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of procurement systems, processes and capability.
