Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking a Security and Logistics Manager (Grade 9/10) for a NSW Government agency in Parramatta on a 12-month contract. The role is 35 hours per week with on-call duties and an on-site working arrangement.

You will lead security operations, emergency management planning and logistics functions, oversee outsourced contracts, and work in a high-traffic, public-facing precinct to support readiness ahead of a major opening.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security management within large, complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, incident response and contract management.
• Proven capability leading operational teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead emergency management planning, preparedness and response activities.
• Oversee all security operations across the precinct.
• Manage CCTV, access control and security technology systems.
• Drive security compliance, auditing, training and awareness programs.
• Manage outsourced security contracts and monitor service delivery performance.
• Act as the key escalation point for security and operational incidents.
• Support logistics functions to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
• Provide leadership and direction to large operational teams.
• Contribute to operational readiness activities for a major new facility opening.
