Job summary

St Francis de Sales College in Mount Barker, SA, is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Manager to join the Executive Leadership Team. This senior role extends across finance, people, operations and governance to support the College’s financial sustainability and growth.

You will lead budgeting, reporting, workforce planning and facilities management, working closely with the Principal, College Board and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and commercial skills.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple operational functions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Experience with compliance, governance, risk and WHS.
• A strategic mindset with hands-on execution.

• Current WWCC
• Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect in Education and Care Settings or willingness to obtain
• Current First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting and controls.
• Provide leadership across support services: workforce planning, recruitment, staff development, and performance management.
• Oversee administration, ICT, WHS, catering, grounds and maintenance to meet needs.
• Lead assets and facilities management: capital works, contracts, insurance and long-term planning.
• Ensure strong governance and compliance practices.
• Support enrolment strategies, marketing, resource planning and financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with Principal, College Board and executive team to communicate with stakeholders.
