Job summary

Paxus seeks an experienced Scheduling and Control Team Leader to oversee scheduling across multiple projects and programmes. You will manage a team of schedulers, establish governance for baselines and changes, and drive schedule quality using EVM and dependency management.

You will collaborate with project managers, vendors, and stakeholders, embedding best practices in project controls and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Formal tertiary qualification in project management or engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project scheduling and control in complex environments.
• Experience with Earned Value Management, dependency management, and rolling wave planning.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing scheduling teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the scheduling and controlling team, setting strategic direction.
• Establish and enforce scheduling standards including baseline and change control.
• Develop integrated master schedules with cross-portfolio dependency tracking and risk management.
• Implement schedule performance metrics such as Schedule Performance Index and EVMs tools.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimise scheduling and project controls practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain data integrity.
• Provide insights and reports on schedule health, progress and risks to senior leadership.
• Mentor team members to foster growth and collaboration.
