Sydney Fish Market Pty Ltd seeks a practical Safety Leader to own and advance safety culture across a fast-paced, multi-tenant market. You will lead a safety team, collaborate with executives, regulators and partners, and drive wellbeing, risk management and compliance initiatives.

You will coach leaders, develop robust safety processes, and ensure effective audits and reporting to protect workers and operations at this iconic venue.

Competenze

• Diploma or degree in WHS or related discipline; Certificate IV with substantial experience will be considered.

Mansioni

• Build a practical, multi-year safety culture strategy across the tenancy.
• Listen to workers, partner with HSRs, and translate frontline insight into safer ways of working.
• Coach leaders and supervisors to lead safety with confidence, consistency and care.
• Lead and develop the safety team with strong day-to-day coverage at peak times.
• Strengthen psychosocial safety, fatigue management, wellbeing, injury management and return-to-work practices.
• Keep WHS and environmental systems audit-ready, maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Collaborate with facilities partner, regulators, suppliers and Legal Counsel on safety and enterprise risk priorities.
• Analyse safety and wellbeing data and report clearly to the Executive, Board and P&C Safety Executive Workstream.
• Administer the risk management system and maintain the strategic risk register.
• Manage the Digital safety platform and safety induction, compliance and governance.
