Job summary

NeuRA, located in Randwick (Sydney), seeks an experienced Research Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead strategic development, governance and operational management of its research infrastructure ecosystem. You will enable researchers with facilities, systems and support, spanning labs, imaging, animal work and digital data environments.

The role reports to the Chief Research Officer and drives governance, quality, planning and collaboration with internal and external partners to sustain

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field with significant experience managing research infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of research governance, ethics and responsible research practices.
• Experience overseeing research facilities, laboratories, technical platforms or shared infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement NeuRA's research infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Drive continuous improvement of shared facilities and infrastructure.
• Identify current and future infrastructure needs to support research growth.
• Provide expert advice to investigators, leaders and executives.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing research environment that supports innovation.
• Lead audit, reporting and continuous improvement activities.
