Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced AO6 Program Scheduler to support planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse regional program portfolio in Queensland, Australia. The role focuses on maintaining continuity across scheduling and resource planning to ensure projects stay on track.

You will monitor schedules, track milestones, identify risks and support operational planning across multiple workstreams, collaborating with delivery teams to drive timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in project scheduling, program coordination or workforce planning.
• Strong organisational and multi-priority management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to identify scheduling conflicts, risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update high-level project and program schedules.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables and key due dates.
• Identify schedule variances, delays and emerging risks, escalating where required.
• Review program updates and communicate relevant information to Delivery Teams.
• Facilitate Planning and Scheduling Meetings with Delivery Teams.
• Update and maintain the Field Staff Planning Calendar (FSPC) following planning meetings.
• Assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of project schedules.
• Collect, validate and analyse project information for scheduling purposes.
• Respond to routine scheduling, planning and reporting enquiries.
• Support resource planning, apprentice coordination, work experience coordination and delivery planning activities across the region.
