Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain updated purchasing records, data, and pricing in the system.
• Handle and monitor claims to the factory and vendors for defects, shortages, and missing parts.
• Assist with sourcing and selecting the best purchase package on quality, price, terms and delivery.
• Manage inventory levels in liaison with operations and budget requirements.
• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders to ensure contracts and prices are correct.
• Collaborate with production and sales on upcoming products and manufacturing techniques.
• Prepare production work orders per site specifications and certifications.
