Trumps in Australia is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to own supplier relationships, procurement activities and import coordination in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will work with the Supply Chain Manager and cross-functional teams to secure reliable supply and negotiate competitive pricing.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate procurement experience in food manufacturing or import environments, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a proactive approach to ensure production

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience in procurement and purchasing within manufacturing or import environments.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating with domestic and international suppliers.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting and production planning.
• Experience managing import logistics and monitoring supplier performance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, quality and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Procurement and purchasing: manage end-to-end purchasing activities to meet production requirements.
• Supplier management: build and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers, negotiate terms.
• Import coordination: manage import orders, logistics, documentation and delivery timelines.
• Inventory and planning: monitor stock levels and forecast requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Supplier performance: monitor delivery performance and resolve supply issues.
• Cost and process improvement: identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce waste.
• Systems and reporting: maintain purchasing data in ERP and analyze data to support decisions.
• Quality and compliance: ensure suppliers meet food safety and regulatory requirements.
