Job summary

HelloFresh in Sydney is seeking a Buyer to own the Grocery category within a dynamic procurement team. Based in Chippendale with a hybrid working arrangement, you will balance speed, cost, and risk while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement or supply chain, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative problem-solving mindset to drive end-to-end buying improvements for perishable ingredients.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, operations or supply chain in a similar role.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own supply planning for Grocery category including POs and stock.
• Lead supplier reviews and track performance metrics.
• Serve as SME for category issues and incident resolution.
• Balance demand with supply and manage inventory.
• Assist with cost reporting and invoice validation.
• Collaborate with production, culinary, and logistics teams.
• Investigate major supply chain issues to drive improvements.
