Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Manager Property Advisory within the Strategic Infrastructure, Risk and Resilience team of Infrastructure and Assets. You will oversee strategic property portfolio management, commercial leasing, stakeholder relations and divestments for Government assets.

You will report to the Senior Manager and work with a team of 5, requiring strong communication and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in facilities management, asset management and building principles or equivalent industry experience.
• Appointments subject to reference checks and possible governance clearances.

Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate complex property management matters relating to Government owned assets.
• Crown Land management responsibility of owned assets.
• Manage on behalf of DCJ Aboriginal Land Claim dealings and assessment.
• Provide analyses, reports and options papers to management with current awareness of property performance.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and draft Ministerial correspondence.
• Oversee divestment of Government assets within the Government Property Framework with PDNSW.
