Job summary

Department of Health in Western Australia seeks a policy leader to identify emerging trends, opportunities, risks, and policy developments, translating these into practical projects that improve regulatory services and outcomes.

The role leads legislative policy development, including the review, interpretation, and amendment of Acts and regulations, with the ability to manage complex legislative processes and stakeholder consultation.

• Leading legislative policy development, including the review, interpretation, and amendment of Acts and regulations, with the ability to manage complex legislative processes and stakeholder consultation.
• Fostering productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration, influence outcomes, and support successful project delivery.

Job description

As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment.
