Job summary

NRMA seeks an experienced Business Project Manager to lead strategic projects within the PMO, delivering end-to-end outcomes with a mix of Waterfall and Agile approaches. You will partner with business owners and stakeholders across Membership and Roadside to drive change and ensure successful delivery.

Hybrid role: Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney CBD offices (min 2 days/week) plus work-from-home as required. Strong governance, budgeting and reporting are key to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience.
• PM certification with Agile and Waterfall experience; PRINCE2 Foundation highly regarded.
• Experience leading complex projects and programs of work.
• Release-level management experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and governance capabilities.
• Proven stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to coach and support junior project managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects end to end from scoping to post-implementation review.
• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions and stage-gate activities.
• Coordinate change management, communications and training.
• Manage risks, issues, actions and dependencies; control changes.
• Collaborate with Technology for development, testing and releases.
• Prepare status, budget and variance reporting for governance forums.
• Support business analysis, testing and training activities.
• Assist in business case development for medium/large initiatives.
• Ensure governance across investments, data, procurement and finances.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PM frameworks.
