Job summary

Bank Australia seeks a strategically-minded Program Manager to lead an EPMO team and oversee delivery of its most critical programs. You will partner with senior business leaders to ensure timely decisions, fit-for-purpose solutions, and alignment with the Corporate Strategy.

Travel between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane is expected, with relocation considerations for Mascot and Collingwood. You will design metrics, manage risks, and report on health, budget and benefits while fostering change

Qualifications

• 7–10 years accumulated experience in a similar role or capacity.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Commerce, Finance, Technology or related field.
• Post graduate qualifications in these fields and/or an MBA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your team of EPMO Project Managers and oversee their delivery efforts.
• Program and project manage assigned strategic activity end-to-end to achieve KPIs involving people, systems, processes and customers.
• Establish trusted partnerships with business leaders and ensure timely decisions and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Provide early warning of risks or issues threatening budget, scope or outcomes.
• Design and embed metrics to measure realisation of benefits and adoption of delivered outcomes.
• Provide clear status reporting and line-of-sight on health, budget, benefits and progress.
• Collaborate with Change Management to manage the people impact of change.
• Promote simplification and standardisation of PM processes, templates and practices.
