Job summary

The Royal Women’s Hospital in Parkville, Melbourne, is seeking a skilled procurement professional to support procurement planning, sourcing, tender processes and contract administration across strategic automation and digital initiatives. You will manage vendor relationships, draft and negotiate contracts, and advise on commercial decisions within a highly regulated health environment.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver value, monitor supplier

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, contract management, vendor management and/or commercial operations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Sound commercial acumen with balancing value, risk and service outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement planning, sourcing activities, tender processes, and contract administration.
• Manage and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring suppliers deliver value and meet KPIs.
• Assist with contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and monitoring compliance.
• Provide procurement advice and support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to procurement governance, risk management and compliance activities.
• Work with project teams and stakeholders to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop procurement frameworks, standards, and best-practice processes.
