Job summary

Visy is seeking a Procurement Specialist – Bulk and Intermodal to manage sourcing across bulk and intermodal logistics. You will report to the Group Procurement Manager – Logistics, oversee tender processes, and provide procurement support to optimise cost, service, and network performance.

The role requires building strong supplier relationships, leading negotiations, and partnering with operations to align procurement with real-world needs in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Own a critical logistics portfolio across bulk and intermodal, driving cost, service, and network performance outcomes that matter
• Set and deliver category strategy that improves carrier performance, strengthens supply continuity, and unlocks long‑term value
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and negotiations with transport providers, securing competitive rates and robust commercial agreements
• Build and manage strategic carrier relationships, holding suppliers accountable to KPIs while driving innovation and continuous improvement
• Partner with operations and senior stakeholders to solve real logistics challenges and align procurement decisions with on‑the‑ground needs
• Identify and deliver tangible value through cost savings, efficiency gains, and smarter ways of working in a complex, regulated transport environment
