The role focuses on building commissioning capabilities across government and the community’s services sector, supporting cross‑sector organisational change, and analysing ACP data to identify opportunities for integrated service delivery.

It also aims to improve contracting with ACCOs.

• Build and enhance commissioning skills and capability across government agencies and the community’s services sector.
• Support cross sector organisational change to facilitate commissioning.
• Analyse agency Commissioning Plan (ACP) data to identify opportunities for integrated service delivery, trials and pilots of place-based services.
• Improve and increase contracting with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs).
