Zusammenfassung

Suncorp Group is seeking a Commercial Insurance Short Tail Pricing professional in Brisbane to help develop pricing solutions that support portfolio growth and profitability across short to long term horizons. You will perform hands-on pricing analysis, predictive modelling, portfolio monitoring and governance within the pricing function.

Your work involves collaborating with Pricing, Portfolio, Actuarial, Finance, Claims and Distribution teams, delivering pricing initiatives, and improving

Qualifikationen

Degree in IT, Mathematics, Science, Business or Actuarial Studies (desirable).
Around 12 months of relevant insurance, finance or statistical modelling experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills to interpret data and develop solutions.
Knowledge of SAS, Excel, or R; Python/C/VBA is advantageous.
Understanding of finance and business drivers when interpreting reports.
Clear communication and ability to work with limited supervision.

Prepare pricing recommendations and implement approved price changes.
Monitor pricing metrics and portfolio performance against targets.
Collaborate with Pricing, Portfolio, Actuarial, Finance, Claims and Distribution.

Improve pricing processes and rating factors to strengthen profitability.
