Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking a professional to provide specialist support to its leadership team for the Integrated Planning and Reporting framework and corporate planning. The role aligns operations with the Community Strategic Plan and coordinates community engagement to inform decisions.

The position requires senior planning and reporting experience, strong writing/editing skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a politically sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in communication, business planning, management, corporate planning, governance or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate planning and reporting with proven experience in planning and delivering complex projects in a politically sensitive environment.
• Demonstrated experience in writing and editing multifaceted documents such as strategic plans, annual reports, policies, guidelines and manuals.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and conducting community engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support to Council's leadership team and stakeholders in reviewing, developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting the IP&R framework.
• Coordinate planning, delivery and reporting of community engagement activities to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Education

Relevant tertiary qualifications in communication, business planning, management, corporate planning, governance or relevant experience

Experience in corporate planning and reporting

Experience in writing and editing strategic documents (plans, annual reports, policies)

Experience in managing community engagement activities
