Job summary

Willoughby City Council is seeking a Senior Strategy and Corporate Planning Officer to drive its integrated planning, reporting and performance monitoring framework. You will coordinate corporate planning, policy development and strategic research activities to strengthen community outcomes.

You will lead analysis, develop high-quality planning materials and provide evidence-based recommendations to executive teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in strategy, business planning, public policy, economics, management, analytics or a related discipline.
• Experience developing corporate plans, organisational strategies or performance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of planning, performance measurement and governance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and delivery of corporate and business planning processes.
• Drive maturity of the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.
• Develop strategic frameworks and improvement initiatives.
• Analyze information to prepare strategic reports and briefings.
• Translate research findings into clear narratives for audiences.
• Facilitate workshops and engagement for strategy development.
• Develop planning materials, dashboards and executive documents.
• Support KPI tracking and progress reporting against plans.
