Job summary

Sydney Writers' Festival is seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead cultivation, acquisition and stewardship of corporate supporters. Reporting to the Head of Development, you will secure sponsorship, grow revenue and ensure delivery of partner benefits.

The role requires at least five years in partnerships or sales, with a proven ability to identify opportunities and build long-term collaborations for a not-for-profit arts organisation based in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship, business development or sales.
• Not-for-profit, arts or cultural sector experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in securing new business and growing revenue.
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a portfolio of corporate partners through proactive outreach and relationship building.
• Identify potential sponsors and secure strategic sponsorship support.
• Develop tailored partnership proposals and manage negotiations.
• Lead engagement with senior stakeholders to secure long-term agreements.
• Collaborate with Programming, Marketing, Production and Finance to deliver partnership outcomes.
• Deliver revenue targets and ensure fulfilment of partner benefits and contractual obligations.
