Job summary

The University of Queensland is seeking a Manager, Network Engagement and Communications at the Child Health Research Centre in South Brisbane. This 60% FTE, fixed-term role partners with researchers, clinicians and stakeholders to implement strategic engagement, partnerships and communications initiatives for the First 10K Days network.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies within a large or complex organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to establish, manage and sustain positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to communication, engagement, partnership or marketing solutions including digital platforms or technology-enabled tools.
• Strong strategic and operational capability, translating priorities into practical plans, deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Highly developed organisational, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Network's priorities into actionable workplans, deliverables and evaluation activities.
• Develop and implement an integrated communication and engagement approach to strengthen connections and knowledge exchange.
• Build and sustain relationships with researchers, partner organisations, clinicians, policymakers, funders and community stakeholders; coordinate events and meetings.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to design and improve digital platforms and engagement tools; support governance and partnerships.
