Job summary

The University of Queensland is seeking a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement professional to join its Corporate Affairs team. This role is based at the St Lucia campus and is a full-time continuing appointment, with a base salary in the range of 106,709 to 116,199 AUD plus 17% super.

You will develop and implement communications and stakeholder engagement programs for major infrastructure and corporate initiatives, building trusted relationships with industry, government, staff, students

Qualifications

• Highly developed written communication skills for multiple audiences and formats.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication; proven relationship-building ability.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities with ability to handle high workload and shifting priorities.
• Sound judgement to analyse stakeholder and reputational impacts in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of communication and stakeholder engagement programs for major infrastructure, campus development and corporate initiatives.
• Create clear communication plans, materials and assets for diverse audiences and channels.
• Contribute to industry and government engagement to strengthen UQ's profile and relationships.
• Analyse stakeholder impacts and support relationship management across UQ activities.
• Support reputation management and craft communications during incidents and emerging issues.
