Job summary

Talent Street seeks an EL1 Lead Data Analyst to oversee data analytics, quality and team operations within a large Australian government service-delivery organisation. You will guide analytics across business areas, provide expert advice, and lead staff development while engaging internal and external stakeholders to meet complex business needs.

Qualifications

• EL1-equivalent data analysis leadership experience.
• Experience leading analytical work and delivering data insights/products.
• Ability to guide staff and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain Baseline security clearance.
• Applicants must provide a one-page pitch addressing all essential criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead team operations, setting priorities and managing workflow, resources and performance.
• Develop staff through performance oversight, coaching and succession planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver project outcomes and strengthen service-delivery capability.
• Develop and improve data methodologies, processes and policies for ICT and projects.
• Support data-quality programmes and monitor outputs against standards.
• Contribute to ICT strategy, budgeting and procurement management.
• Prepare and review technical and corporate documents; report on KPIs and quality assurance.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement; support change and policy development.
• Represent the organisation at interagency forums and governance activities.
