Job summary

The NSW Department of Education is seeking an IT Disaster Recovery, Resilience & Major Incident Manager to strengthen IT resilience, disaster recovery, and incident response across NSW. You will provide strategic leadership, governance and coordination for recovery capabilities, ensuring critical services stay available and lessons from incidents are implemented.

Qualifications

• Current WWCC clearance for paid employment is required.
• ITIL certification or equivalent experience is required.
• Commitment to public education and its value.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for IT resilience, DR and major incidents.
• Coordinate major incident management across a large technology environment.
• Establish recovery standards, governance and testing programs.
• Lead collaboration with architecture, security, infrastructure, and service management.
• Translate incident lessons into measurable improvements for resilience.
