Job summary

The GPT Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Commercial & Supplier Manager to lead IT procurement, contract lifecycle, and supplier governance across the technology portfolio.

You will drive negotiations, risk management, and governance reporting, ensuring value, policy compliance, and audit-ready documentation; this role partners with Legal and Risk to deliver measurable IT outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT contract lifecycle and supplier governance.
• Ability to develop and execute RFPs, RFQs and tender processes.
• Strong vendor negotiations, risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the full IT contract lifecycle—sourcing, negotiation, execution, renewal, variation and termination.
• Lead commercial negotiations with vendors, MSPs and cloud partners.
• Maintain supplier risk frameworks, scorecards and governance cadences.
• Manage vendor disputes, escalations and remediation.
• Serve as primary IT procurement lead for business cases, evaluations and approvals.
• Shape procurement frameworks, including preferred supplier arrangements and renewals.
• Maintain governance to ensure policy and regulatory compliance with audit-ready docs.
• Develop performance dashboards and governance reporting for leadership.
