Job summary

Allianz Technology in Sydney is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead IT procurement across services, software, hardware and telecommunications. You will shape strategies, manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts and drive cost outcomes.

We value strategic thinkers with 7–10 years of procurement experience in multinational settings, proficiency with SAP MM and Ariba, and a track record of delivering value through supplier partnerships in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 7–10 years procurement experience in IT or related fields.
• Experience developing and executing IT procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Strong negotiation, supplier relationship and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies across IT categories (services, software, hardware, telecommunications).
• Manage supplier selection, performance and relationships to ensure service quality and continuity of supply.
• Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract management to ensure governance and compliance.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives and monitor procurement performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand procurement needs and support capability development.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
