Job summary

Allianz Technology in Sydney is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead IT sourcing across services, software, hardware and telecommunications. You will partner with stakeholders to understand needs and drive value while navigating a multinational governance framework.

The role requires 7–10 years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and experience with SAP MM and Ariba. Hybrid working options are available and you’ll contribute to digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of procurement experience in IT or related field.
• Experience with Generative AI and digital transformation.
• Proven experience developing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Experience in vendor and managed services environments.
• Experience in multinational organisations with global reporting lines.
• Strong negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies across IT categories (services, software, hardware and telecommunications) aligned to business objectives.
• Manage supplier selection, performance and relationships to ensure service quality and continuity of supply.
• Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract management, ensuring governance compliance.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives and monitor procurement performance for value outcomes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide guidance.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
