Job summary

Synergy is seeking a Communications Advisor for a 12-month max-term contract to join the Brand, Marketing and Communications team in Perth. You will develop and deliver communications plans, content and employee engagement activities that support strategic priorities and operational needs.

Working with leaders and stakeholders, you will provide trusted advice, translate complex information into clear messages, manage employee communications channels and help ensure a consistent “one voice”

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in communications or a related discipline, supported by relevant qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in internal communications, employee engagement or change communications initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and build trusted relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
• A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication plans, content and employee engagement activities that support strategic and operational business priorities.
• Provide trusted communication advice to leaders and stakeholders across a diverse portfolio.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and deliver communication plans, campaigns, initiatives and activities aligned to business priorities.
• Provide communications materials, including key messages, presentations, scripts, and other communication materials.
• Manage communications channels and activities that strengthen awareness, understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Brand Marketing and Communications to deliver aligned communications outcomes.
