Job summary

Bega Group is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager to deliver high-quality, independent assurance and advisory services that sharpen governance, risk management, and control effectiveness. You will design and execute the risk-based Internal Audit Plan, lead end-to-end audits across business areas, and coordinate co-sourced partners to consistent standards.

Qualifications

• Proven success delivering complex internal audit and risk engagements in large organisations.
• Confident communicator who can write board-level reports and present to executive stakeholders and committees.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement — able to build trust and influence with courage and respect.
• Curious and analytical with an interest in data analytics and technology-enabled assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver the annual risk-based Internal Audit Plan
• Plan, lead and execute end-to-end internal audits and reviews across the business
• Produce clear, insightful reports and recommendations; track and validate remediation
• Coordinate and quality-assure co-sourced internal audit partners and specialist providers
• Present audit results and thematic insights to the Executive Leadership Team and the Risk & Audit Committee and Board; continuously enhance methodology and technology-enabled assurance
