Job summary

Cambridge Design Partnership (CDP) is seeking an Associate Insights & Strategy Researcher to join our multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to consumer and healthcare research, help identify user needs, and support opportunities for innovation and product development.

Working with experienced researchers and strategists, you will help design studies, collect and analyse data, and translate findings into clear client recommendations and impactful reports.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in social sciences, psychology, business, marketing, design or science.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional research experience in consumer sector.
• Experience analysing research findings and contributing to reports or presentations.

Responsibilities

• Research and data collection: support qualitative and quantitative research with experienced researchers; prepare materials; participate in interviews, focus groups, and workshops; conduct secondary research.
• Analysis and reporting: identify key themes; synthesise findings; draft client deliverables and presentations; refine findings with senior colleagues; translate insights into recommendations.
• Project delivery and collaboration: be a core member of multidisciplinary teams; present findings in client meetings; manage tasks across projects; support proposals and new business through background research.
• Essential: strong analytical and critical thinking; experience with consumer-focused research; knowledge of qualitative/quantitative methods; ability to communicate clearly in reports and presentations; excellent written/verbal communication; strong organisational skills; proactive and collaborative; interest in healthcare/medical tech; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
