Rio Tinto Iron Ore in Tom Price, WA is seeking a Superintendent Indigenous Support to lead a team delivering strategic support for Indigenous employees and partnering with leaders to strengthen cultural competency across the business. The role guides initiatives that build cultural awareness, embed inclusive practices and support culturally safe workplaces.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety of yourself and team.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, case management or employee support.
• Experience leading Indigenous employee programs and inclusion initiatives.
• Understanding HR policies and employee support pathways.
• Ability to analyse information, identify trends and translate insights into action.
• Experience influencing leaders and stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead culturally responsive support, coaching and case management for Indigenous employees.
• Partner with leaders to embed culturally safe practices and strengthen Indigenous support capability.
• Oversee workplace transitions, onboarding and first 90 days support.
• Drive initiatives to improve wellbeing, retention and career development.
• Champion the Indigenous Participation Framework with talent and attraction teams.
• Maintain data and provide reporting for continuous improvement.
• Build relationships across teams and with external service providers.
• Lead team capability, workforce planning and resourcing.
