Job summary

HBT Australia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join its NSW operations, primarily based in Beresfield. You will partner with business leaders to provide hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, ER, performance and development.

Working closely with the HR and WH&S teams, you will drive HR initiatives, advise on legislation and agreements, and contribute to continual improvement projects using Employment Hero.

Qualifications

• Broad generalist HR experience.
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
• Experience supporting leaders with employee relations and performance matters.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management and broader workplace matters.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts and employee engagement activities.
• Provide advice in line with employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
• Support EA/EBA negotiations and related activities where required.
• Support training, development, performance reviews and succession planning.
• Contribute to HR projects, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
