Job summary

Kennards Hire is hiring a Business Development Manager in Adelaide, SA. You will own a high-growth territory, balancing account development with hands-on commercial execution across Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers.

You will lead solution-led selling, engage with senior decision-makers, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery of commitments while driving growth in the building and hire sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience winning commercial sales and generating repeat business in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers and decisions at exec and site levels.
• Knowledge of construction or hire industries driving regional growth.
• Ability to engage with C-suite while coordinating with on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer accounts.
• Grow wallet share through solution-led selling and relationship development.
• Build relationships across site teams to the C-suite level.
• Deliver senior stakeholder and boardroom-level presentations.
• Develop and execute customer-specific growth plans aligned to sales strategy.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Partner with internal operations to deliver customer commitments.
• Maintain CRM discipline and account planning.
• Travel may be required.
