Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering income-generating activities and campaigns with ROI focus.
• End-to-end campaign management from strategy to reporting.
• Experience in fundraising/marketing, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
• Knowledge across grants, regular giving, events, major gifts, bequests and corporate partnerships.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across fundraising streams, including regular giving, bequests, grants, events, major gifts and corporate partnerships.
• Work with the Development and Communications Manager to integrate fundraising with communications across channels.
• Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging and tone across fundraising communications.
• Build relationships with donors, supporters, corporate partners and internal stakeholders.
• Meet KPIs for fundraising activities and provide regular reporting to the Executive.
• Monitor performance and refine activity to maximise impact and ROI.

The Order of Malta is seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that builds sustainable income that supports existing programs and enables new initiatives. Reporting to the Development and Communications Manager, you'll take ownership of the fundraising program, build strong relationships and turn strategy into measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising and income-generation plans across a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities across a range of fundraising streams, including regular giving, bequests, grants, events, major gifts and corporate partnerships.
• Work closely with the Development and Communications Manager to integrate fundraising, communications and messaging across relevant channels.
• Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging and tone across fundraising communications.
• Build strong relationships with donors, supporters, corporate partners and internal stakeholders.
• Meet appropriate measures and KPIs for fundraising activities and provide regular reporting to the Executive.
• Monitor fundraising performance, identify opportunities for improvement and continually refine activity to maximise impact and return on investment.

About you

• Proven experience delivering successful income generating activities and campaigns, with a strong focus on return on investment.
• Demonstrated end-to-end campaign management experience, from strategy and planning through to delivery, evaluation and reporting.
• Experience working in fundraising/marketing, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
• Knowledge and exposure to a range of fundraising streams, such as grants, regular giving, events, major gifts, bequests and corporate partnerships.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to identify opportunities and turn them into action.
