Job summary

Hume Community Housing seeks a commercially minded finance leader to head FP&A and Commercial Finance, shaping financial strategy and long-term planning. You will deliver forecasting, insights, and business partnering across Hume and its entities, influencing critical investment decisions.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive performance, ensure sustainability, and lead improvements in reporting, modelling and systems across a purpose-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' post-qualification experience in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Experience with long-term financial planning and scenario analysis.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and reporting for executives and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning across the organisation and controlled entities.
• Deliver commercial insights and business case analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide trusted financial advice and investment recommendations.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury reporting and funding analysis.
• Deliver management reporting, dashboards and performance insights to executives and committees.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and planning processes.
