Job summary

Lawson Elliott Recruitment is seeking an FP&A Analyst/Management Accountant to partner with the CFO, analysing and presenting scenarios for strategic decisions. The role is based on the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane offices, with a split between planning/analysis (50%) and monthly management accounting (50%).

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in finance, strong ERP experience, and CA/CPA (2 years post qual). Excellent Excel skills and exposure to large projects are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in FP&A or finance roles.
• Experience with large ERP systems; CA/CPA with 2 years post-qualification preferred.
• Economics background highly desirable; Big 4/Mid-Tier training a plus.
• Strong Excel skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse, and report on accounting data including cashflows, P&L, balance sheets, and GL activity.
• Contribute to Group Consolidated Month-End Board Reporting and divisional/departmental financials.
• Perform detailed analysis of Australian and overseas financial results.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX processes with project teams.
• Deliver tailored reporting and insights for General Managers and CFO.
• Identify process improvements and document controls for efficiency.
