Job summary

Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is seeking a Manager, FOI and Information Release in Geelong with hybrid work flexibility. The role leads FOI delivery, oversees information release while balancing transparency and risk, and guides a team of FOI officers and staff.

You'll provide authoritative legal guidance under FOI Act and Transport Accident Act, drive continuous improvement, and partner with senior leaders to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading end-to-end FOI delivery.
• Experience advising on FOI access and information release.
• Experience with external review processes (OVIC, VCAT).
• Knowledge of information governance and records management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage TAC's FOI and information release functions.
• Provide strategic, high-quality legal advice on FOI laws and information release.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide information release processes.
