Job summary

Viva Energy Australia is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its Retail Finance team. You will report to the Head of Finance & FP&A and shape financial strategy for a dynamic energy and convenience retail business.

You will own monthly management reporting, statutory reporting, and treasury while developing a high-performing team, including offshore resources. The role offers exposure to strategic planning, process improvements and business transformation projects across Viva

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CA or CPA with senior finance leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading high-performing finance teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial management, statutory reporting, and controls expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Team and drive performance across monthly reporting cycles.
• Oversee month-end close, statutory reporting, treasury and banking activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on budgeting, capex, and business transformation initiatives.
