Zusammenfassung

Netball Australia seeks a highly organised finance professional to own core financial processes, including month-end close, reporting, reconciliations and year-end audit. The role also covers corporate cards, employee expenses, tax reporting and funding reconciliations, guiding leaders with insightful analysis.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years in accounting, strong Excel/finance systems skills, and an autonomous, detail‑driven approach aligned with NA values.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification, or working towards qualification, is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate the monthly financial close process with accurate journals and GL integrity.
• Coordinate year-end reporting and external audits; liaise with auditors and prepare schedules.
• Review corporate card transactions and employee expenses; support BAS, payroll tax and FBT.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and provide analysis for Executive/Board reporting.
• Ensure compliance with taxation and accounting requirements and maintain supporting documentation.
